Since 2002, I've read a lot --- a little over 400+ books --- most of them middle-grade or young adult titles. I keep track of them in a spreadsheet and during a procrastination tactic I sorted them and I noticed that I've read a book title that almost covers the whole alphabet (I'm missing Y and X titles --- I may need to work on that, LOL). I read this interesting article in the New York Times A New Assignment: Pick Books You Like. The article talks about a teacher in Georgia who gives her students choices for what they read in class.
