I just found out what I already knew would happen... The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins won the Battle of the Kids' Books sponsored by School Library Journal. Several authors served as judges for the rounds, and Lois Lowry made the final decision. I LOVED the Hunger Games. It was my favorite book of 2008.
