A Recurring Dream

For some reason, I have been dreaming about tornadoes. Seriously, a LOT of them. I'm always in this high-rise building working and then I see tornadoes forming and people getting sucked up by them (why are these people on the roof anyway?). So I figured maybe it means something. My Independence Day

This weekend, we’ll celebrate the big holiday of our nation’s independence; however, I’ve already celebrated my independence day earlier this summer. On June 7, 2002, I decided that I would stop living a life that wasn’t mine and start living an authentic life. Influencing the World

I was looking at the 2009 Time 100 and saw that one of the most influential people in the world is a children’s book writer. Jeff Kinney is the author/illustrator of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid books. These books are hilarious. But what I love about this writer/illustrator is that he still has a day job. I have a certain affinity to writers with day jobs.
