I've read several great books this year, but Revolution by Jennifer Donnelly will stay with me for a long time. The author says that there are many kinds of revolutions in this novel but mostly it is a "revolution of the heart." Bad Reviews
I'm an eternal optimist --- I always see the glass as half full. But I seem to have a sadist streak in me because whenever I read book reviews, I always read the 1-star ratings first. I do this with especially with a book I adore. I read the 1-star ratings just to see the comments --- and I'm amazed at some of the things that are said about a book I love.
