It’s mostly raining here in Atlanta, so the lure of a cookout is not as tempting. With a day job, a company-paid holiday means a day of writing for me.
Today is no different. I’m looking forward to a good few hours of writing.
Yesterday, I went to grocery store and there were some veterans there giving out red silk roses to the ladies. I thought that was very sweet and I thanked them for their service. On their display table, they had several pictures of their comrades that they had lost in battle.
It brought back to focus what Memorial Day is all about.
So although I’ll be at the bookstore working on this ever-changing novel ending, I’ll also be thinking of the soldiers in those pictures and the many around the world who sacrificed their lives.

Happy Memorial Day! :)
Sandy, happy holiday to you as well! I hope that you were able to get someone to snag you some BEA ARCs.
Happy writing!
