Character Development

A lot of writers do character sketches. Some writers do interviews with their characters. Some even do whole biographies from birth to current novel time for character development. One thing that I do consistently that sort of helps me figure out a character in the very beginning is to do a Myers-Brigg assessment of the character (check out my post Multiple Personalities). In the SLJ Teen newsletter, I found out that the The William C. Morris YA Debut Award finalists have been announced. According the Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA) website: "The William C. The Art of War (For Writers)

Taking a break from revision update posts. But I'm almost at the finish line. I should be complete with this first round of revisions by the end of this year. Yay! One accomplishment almost done.
