A lot of writers do character sketches. Some writers do interviews with their characters. Some even do whole biographies from birth to current novel time for character development. YALSA Debut Finalists Annouced

In the SLJ Teen newsletter, I found out that the The William C. Morris YA Debut Award finalists have been announced. According the Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA) website: "The William C. Morris YA Debut Award, first awarded in 2009, honors a debut book published by a first-time author writing for teens and celebrating impressive new voices in young adult literature." Taking a break from revision update posts. But I'm almost at the finish line. I should be complete with this first round of revisions by the end of this year. Yay! One accomplishment almost done.
