A Saturday Post

I usually don't blog on the weekends, but here I am at the fabulous Main Library up the street from my house. I'm working on creating a spreadsheet to help me with my revision process (I'll share that in an upcoming post). Working and Blessed

I just finished my time sheet for client payable hours at the day job. Total hours worked this week: 70 hours. How much time did I work on my novel revision? Total hours worked this week: 2 hours. And those two hours? I just got out of LONG early morning meeting and before I start on my journey of continuing to learn this new skill for my job, I read an interesting post, In Good Company by good writer friend Paula Chase. Revision Update

My revision is going slower because I'm still learning this new skill at my day job. My time is still limited on weeknights so the bulk of my work is happening on the weekends. The good news is that I've had some productive weekends so far. The bad news is that this draft needs a LOT of work!
