Last night after watching the news, I stumbled across Ultimate Cake Off on the TLC Channel. Every week, pastry chefs have to create a cake based on a certain theme. I found the episode interesting---because one of the main settings in my WIP is a bakery. It's something like this that reminds me that I'm a total book nerd. Today at lunch, I went to the bookstore and guess what I bought? FINALLY! I got my hands on the Catching Fire book. I'm SO excited! It's sort of sad but I've been looking forward to this book all year. And now that I'm going on lovely vacay, I can actually read the book during the long holiday weekend.
