		<description>You really can learn so much from people-watching and noting people&#039;s quirks. I have my students do a fun exercise where they list the quirks of people they know in real life and then assign those quirks to fictional characters. They might not wind up being quirks those characters have in the long run, but I think it helps the students think about the characteristics that make people memorable.</description>
