I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. 4 weeks to go.
The day job is really crazy right now. But it’s always crazy during a software release. This too shall pass. Despite the long hours, I still found some time to work on my novel, and I’ve been thinking about it a lot too.
I’ve uncovered some interesting revelations about Grace’s family tree as well as some key background information that may help her in Act 3. I guess this is what Act 2 is all about—setting up the ending.
It’s amazing how this challenge structure has helped me. I always thought that writing was something done in spurts—but I’m starting to appreciate the structure of it all.

Gearing up for Week 10 of the challenge, we have a quote from Writing Alone, Writing Together: A Guide for Writers and Writing Groups by Judy Reeves
“Routines and rituals, discipline and structure: it is within this order that the wild, free creative mind is set loose to roam.”
Off to make some writing happen…
