Her debut novel, Dork Diaries: Tales from a Not-So-Fabulous Life, was just released and in its second week, it has hit No. 8 on the NYT Chapter Books List.
Ah, middle-school girl angst. You have to love it! Plus, a graphic novel series coated in pink—what more can you ask for? You should visit the Dork Diaries blog, it’s totally hilarious like the book.
I first met this writer AND illustrator a couple of years ago when I moderated manuscript swaps for one of my writing groups. After seeing some of her work, I knew it would only be a matter of time before success would come knocking.
I’m so excited because this talented artist has worked so hard. I look forward to seeing what else she will have in store for the future.
